The defining local problem is sites with no infrastructure. Development land, early phase construction, compounds on the edge of a distribution park, all needing cover before there is power, fencing or a cabin to work from.
Solar and rapid deployment towers are the obvious answer and we use a lot of them around Cannock. They land, they run without a generator to steal or refuel, and they relocate as the programme moves rather than needing a second install.
Dog units earn their cost on the larger sites here. Open ground, long sightlines and a genuine deterrent effect that means most of the value is in what never gets attempted.
Once a distribution unit is operational the requirement usually shifts to gatehouse and access control, and because that comes from us too, the change is a conversation rather than a new procurement.
